The Tennessee Titans recently traded away the first overall pick in this year’s draft to the Los Angeles Rams. In return they received the Ram’s 15th pick, two second round picks, and a first rounder next year. This means the Titans will have three second round selections. I will be cutting this mock draft to three rounds.

15TH Overall: Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame
I think the reason Tennessee made this trade was because Jon Robinson knew the guy he wanted to choose was going to last, plus receiving a boat load of picks. The Titans got the better end of this trade. I think Ronnie Stanley would fit well at right tackle for this team, since Taylor Lewan is not fond of moving positions. That would throw Laremy Tunsil out of the picture. Stanley is projected as a top 20 pick and if he falls to the Titans, Robinson would gladly bring him in. Stanley is a shoe in for Tennessee.
33rd Overall: Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
Kendall is the little brother of Kyle Fuller, who is currently playing for the Chicago Bears. Kendall Fuller has shown even more potential than his big brother, but he has some questions concerning his durability. If he maintains a healthy state Fuller can be a superstar. The Titans don’t have major issues at corner but soon Jason McCourty will become a free agent, and Perrish Cox isn’t the most efficient of corners. Fuller could become an immediate slot corner in their system, and soon become a starter. The Titans have three 2nd round picks, so there isn’t as much to lose on this pick.
43rd Overall: Kareem Are, G, Florida State
The Titans should take advantage of these picks they received and take some offensive line talent. Their biggest issue is their offensive line. Their run game was awful last year, and they could not protect Marcus Mariota. Now that Demarco Murray is a Titan, the only thing left to do is set these guys up with a bulky offensive line. Are is an efficient fun blocker, with major size. Are is 6 foot 6 inches tall and 330 pounds. He needs some polishing but this kid has raw talent.
45th Overall: Ethan Posic, C/G, LSU
Posic is huge. Once again I think the Titans should stack up on linemen. I think Posic could be of use at center, and possibly become a starter over Brian Schwenke. Schwenke has proven to be one of the weak spots on the offensive line. It seems as if every position was a problem besides Warmack at right guard and Lewan at left tackle. Posic caught my eye with his size. He is 6 feet and 7 inches tall. The Titans can use that size on the line, and don’t have to worry about blinding the quarterback since Mariota is at perfect size standing at 6 foot 4 inches. Posic is a wild card since he is projected to be selected in the first three rounds, no one knows where. If Posic falls to this pick for the Titans he should be of major consideration, after all he is the top center in the draft.
64th Overall: Scooby Wright, 3-4 OLB, Arizona
Scooby Wright is a major hit or miss this year. Before he sustained a huge knee injury, he was in the talks with best defensive lineman along with Joey Bosa. Wright has shown a huge ability to get to the quarterback, but his injury has him projected in the 4th round. I think this could be a potential steal for the Titans. Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan are both players that could potentially leave. I think they should take Scooby and polish him into a star. His play recognition is that of a middle linebacker, so I wouldn’t throw out the idea of placing him at middle linebacker, which is one of the weaker spots of that defense.
The Titans clearly got the better end of the trade with the Rams, and should take full advantage of getting three second round selections by addressing their offensive line issues. Ronnie Stanley may not fall to the 15th pick, but if he does the Titans should make that move. Players like Kendall Fuller and Scooby Wright are play makers who have had their fair share of injuries. If the Titans can manage to return them to their original form then that defense could potentially be a force to be reckoned with.
